Exciting Changes are Happening Here at The Coffee Grounds

You have probably noticed things look and taste a little different around here.

We’ve got big plans for this awesome community coffee shop and hope you will join in our excitement as we transition into a space that will be geared towards supporting local music and music education through our non-profit, MusicWorks Minnesota. It will still be the great, family-friendly neighborhood hangout you’ve known and loved, but with a fresh look, improved food, new offerings, and we look forward to making this the best place it can be for you.

Thanks for your continued support.
Tim, Dan, Dennis and Bonnie

In the next few months you can expect to see:

  • MORE FOOD! We’re adding breakfast items like egg sandwiches, waffles, oatmeal, dinner items like flatbread pizzas, mac and cheese, artisan cheese plates, and much more!

  • WINE! starting soon we will offer a selection of wine for you to enjoy with your music

  • NEW FLOORS! We’re going to be pulling up the linoleum and putting down a nice polished concrete floor

  • NO MORE POLE! We’re looking into getting rid of the pole on the stage. That’s going to be an expensive fix and we may need to do a few fundraising concerts to pull it off, but we’re drawing up plans and moving forward with the idea.

  • COLOR! We’re going to radically shift the color scheme…something warm and cozy feeling.

  • NEW BAR! We’re currently creating plans for a major bar renovation that will include a new service area, and barstools to hang out at.

Hi, there. I’ve been trying to reach Schuyler and Tyler by email to schedule a date for this June and am not getting a response. (I also accidentally nuked Schuyler’s email addr) Could you please have one of them contact me to schedule another show?

Looking forward to the new changes with great anticipation! One of the few places I drive an hour to come and see music from Wisconsin.
