Traditional Irish duo Sona (pronounced “SUN-a”) and traditional folk trio Dòrain (pronounced “DO – rhine”) are coming together to perform a joint concert filled with English, Scottish and Irish dance tunes, harp melodies, and traditional songs.
Sona features harp, fiddle, concertina and vocals. Dòrain’s style is characterized by three-part vocal harmonies and various styles of accompaniment. Both groups bring a fresh take on the traditional repertoire.
