Paul Harper is a Twin Cities based saxophonist and sometime composer.  Paul performs regularly with a variety of different ensembles, some under his direction and some as a sideman.  His bands include the Bardo Band, the Chordless Trio/Quartet, and Show and Tell.  He also can be found performing with the Illicit Sextet, the Quirkestra, Charmin & Shapiro and Friends, Bossa Jazz, Spirit Jazz, the John Beach Experience, and numerous others.Paul’s musical interests cover a variety of styles and approaches including straight ahead jazz, Brazilian music, funk, R&B, and modern jazz.  He mostly performs on tenor and soprano saxophones.  Please check out this vibrant, active musician!

Jerry Rau

Jerry Rau started playing guitar at age 30.  In the 70s and 80s he traveled nationwide playing coffee shops, bars, and college concerts. Jerry was a regular guest on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion during this time, including their first nationwide broadcast.  Jerry performed at the 1987 and 1991 Winnipeg Folk Festivals.  Jerry has made a couple dozen recordings including both live and studio albums over the course of his career.

After a 20-year detour into the corporate world, Tom has come back full-time to his heart‘s desire… his gift… his passion: writing catchy folk/pop songs, making records, and entertaining audiences. With five albums and several singles to his credit, radio airplay on dozens of stations, and literally thousands of live performances under his belt, you’re bound to see a great show and have an excellent time. Tapping (or stomping) your feet, singing, and clapping along is highly encouraged!

Bill Breitsprecher

Bill began playing guitar by watching Chicago folk performers at Wisconsin
resort.  He has maintained that connection to traditional acoustic music,
but focuses on styles based-on traditional archtop guitars.  The result?
A clear and natural tone with no overdrive or shading from guitar amps &
effects.

While not a “jazzman”, Bill clearly has these influences in his music.  he
studied with some of the best jazz guitarists in Milwaukee.  New to the
Driftland area of Wisconsin, his style of blues & Americana stands out
based on its swing feel and melodic guitar.
